Matched control cohort
A control group receives existing human-only treatment. The AI cohort is statistically comparable on arrears age, balance, risk band, and prior contact history.
Full cycle measurement
Measurement runs over at least one full collection cycle, typically 8 to 12 weeks. Short-window measurement undercounts the recovery lift.
Clear primary metric
Pilot commits to a single primary metric in advance - usually cure rate, contact rate, or cost per recovery. Secondary metrics inform, do not drive the decision.
Compliance oversight
Compliance team reviews scripts, forbearance matrices, vulnerability triggers before go-live. Sign-off is a prerequisite, not a post-hoc.
